Leak-proof Sand Water Separator Continuous Operation Balanced Power
Brief Description
The fully enclosed structure effectively prevents wastewater splashing and odor diffusion, ensuring a clean operating environment. It supports long-term continuous operation, with a balanced power distribution system to avoid localized overheating. Suitable for industrial settings such as food processing, chemical processing, and metallurgy where hygiene is critical.

Product Overview
Featuring high efficiency and stable operation, the SF Series Sand-Water Separator is a professional dewatering solution used to separate sand, grit, and other heavy inorganic solids from wastewater. It constitutes a core component in municipal wastewater treatment systems, industrial pretreatment lines, and other applications where the reduction of abrasive materials is key to protecting downstream equipment and raising process efficiency.
Working Principle
Grit-containing wastewater enters the separation device. Heavy grit particles deposit on the bottom through sedimentation and mechanical transportation. The specially structured spiral shaft lifts and moves the settled grit out of the pool continuously. As lifting proceeds, free water is separated and drained, leading to the discharge of clean grit with a much lower water content.

Key Design & Performance Features
*High Separation Efficiency: Optimized design ensures excellent capture and removal of fine
sand and grit particles.
*Effective Dewatering: The spiral system efficiently drains water from the grit,
delivering a cleaner, drier solids discharge.
*Robust Construction: Built with durable materials like stainless steel for critical
parts, ensuring long service life even in harsh, abrasive
environments.
*Low Maintenance: Simple, sturdy design with minimal moving parts reduces wear and
maintenance requirements.
*Continuous & Automatic Operation: Designed for 24/7 unmanned operation, seamlessly integrating into
automated treatment systems.
*Compact Footprint: Space-saving design allows for easy installation in new or
existing plant layouts.
Applications
Applications include municipal wastewater treatment plants at the headworks phase, industrial wastewater treatment in food processing, textiles and other related industries, stormwater treatment projects, sand washing and recycling operations, and pre‑treatment for protecting pumps and other vulnerable equipment.
