(1) Overview
The intelligent high-temperature strength tester is mainly used for
scientific research institutions, higher engineering colleges, and
factories to test and measure the high-temperature performance of
inorganic non-metallic materials and molding mixtures. It measures
the high-temperature compressive strength of molding sand, the
high-temperature heat resistance time (thermal stability) of core
sand, the thermal expansion of samples at high temperatures, the
thermal expansion force, the thermal deformation and residual
strength of samples under fixed loads, and the room temperature
compressive strength within the range of room temperature to 1400
℃. The high temperature strength of molding sand has a direct
impact on the quality of castings, and some casting defects such as
sand flushing, cracks, sand sticking, sand inclusion, etc. are
related to the changes in strength of molding sand at high
temperatures. It can be used to study the relationship between
high-temperature strength, ductility, and collapsibility of water
glass sand, phenolic resin sand, furan resin sand, and the
relationship between high-temperature strength and casting quality.
The research results have played a positive role in guiding
production.
The principle of this instrument is to simulate the heating state
of the sand mold, place the sample in a high-temperature furnace
for heating, and measure the relevant properties of the sand mold
at high temperature.
Special servo motors, worm gear reducers, high-precision force
sensors, and micro displacement sensors are used, and a computer
intelligent control servo motor loading system, intelligent control
of high-temperature heating furnace temperature, and intelligent
measurement system are configured. It can automatically complete
the entire process of testing, data processing, displaying data and
curves, storing and printing. Dynamically display timely data and
curves during the analysis process. Unlimited storage of all data
and curves during the analysis process, query by year, month, day,
and time, reproduce the measurement data and curves of each sample
