The power frequency induction voltage divider is a device composed
of three interconnected current transformers. By switching the
device's output voltage to a specific ratio of the input voltage,
it ensures precise voltage proportionality, stability, and
universal applicability. Additionally, this equipment features high
input impedance and low output impedance, providing critical
performance for accurate electrical measurements. It is widely used
in various measurement circuits and devices.
This device employs a two-stage transformer design with the highest
accuracy, overcoming the drawbacks of parallel multi-disk induction
voltage dividers where the rear disk significantly affects the
front disk's load, as well as the disadvantages of series
configurations that introduce isolation errors and low input
impedance. The schematic diagram of the two-stage transformer
multi-disk induction voltage divider is shown on the following
page. As illustrated, the multi-disk induction voltage divider
consists of multiple two-stage transformers connected in parallel.
A 1/10 section of the primary winding is connected to the secondary
winding's terminals via a double-pole switch, forcing the secondary
disk to operate at 1/10 of the primary disk's voltage. Due to the
excitation winding, the secondary disk's impact on the primary
disk's circuit is minimal, while isolation errors are eliminated,
resulting in high accuracy.
