Description:

The 3500/60 and 3500/61 modules monitor temperature across six channels. They can work with both RTD and Thermocouple sensor inputs. The modules check these inputs against alarm limits that the user sets.

These two modules work the same way, with one key difference. The 3500/61 module provides six separate recorder outputs, but the 3500/60 module does not. The user programs them using rack software to set them for RTD or Thermocouple use.

The modules come in two versions: a standard non-isolated type and an isolated type for better protection. When used in a Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) setup, three monitors must be installed next to each other. This configuration uses a voting method to ensure accuracy and prevent a single point of failure.
