BYD Destroyer 05 Front Stabilizer Link

The front stabilizer link is a key component connecting the front stabilizer bar (anti-roll bar) to the strut or lower control arm, playing an important role in the suspension system. It transmits body roll torque to the stabilizer bar, reducing body roll during cornering and improving handling stability and driving safety.

According to stabilizer bar working principles, when left and right wheels encounter uneven surfaces or the vehicle corners, suspension height differences create torsion in the stabilizer bar. The stabilizer link serves as the force transmission bridge, transferring torque from the suspension side to the stabilizer bar, which then generates counterforce to suppress body roll.

In daily use, the front stabilizer link is长期 subjected to road impacts and cyclic loads, making the ball joint and bushing prone to wear/looseness, rubber aging/cracking, and dust boot damage – causing "clunking" noise from the chassis while driving, increased body roll during cornering, and reduced handling stability. According to repair recommendations, links should be replaced promptly when abnormal, and it is recommended to replace both left and right sides as a pair for symmetric suspension performance.

According to aftermarket parts information, this link is also compatible with the BYD Qin Pro, confirming its platform-sharing compatibility. Front stabilizer links are available in left and right versions – not interchangeable, please specify the required side when ordering.

The link body is forged from high-strength alloy steel with precision-ground ball joints and Dacromet anti-corrosion coating for excellent corrosion resistance. The product passes durability testing, simulating steering and bump conditions – ensuring no looseness or noise.

According to stabilizer link structure principles, the link has a ball joint or bushing at each end, connecting to the stabilizer bar and suspension component respectively. Our product features high-quality ball joint design for smooth, no-stick articulation, ensuring proper stabilizer bar function.

The link bushing is made of high-temperature and ozone-resistant EPDM rubber, passing high/low temperature cycle testing (-40°C to 120°C) to prevent aging and cracking. The dust boot features reliable sealing, pre-filled with high-quality grease for long-lasting ball joint lubrication – eliminating chassis noise caused by wear.

According to repair experience, if a damaged stabilizer link is not replaced promptly, it can cause uneven tire wear – and replacing tires can cost more than replacing the link. Regular inspection and timely replacement are recommended.

Installation Instructions

Tool Preparation:

  • 13mm/15mm/17mm socket wrenches

  • Torque wrench

  • Jack or lift

Installation Steps:

  1. Lift Vehicle: Raise front of vehicle using lift, remove front wheels (if clearance needed)

  2. Remove Old Link: Remove upper nut (connecting to strut/control arm) and lower nut (connecting to stabilizer bar), remove old link

  3. Clean Mounting Area: Clean dust and dirt from mounting positions

  4. Install New Link: Align new link with mounting holes, install upper and lower nuts, hand-tighten

  5. Torque Nuts: Use torque wrench to tighten nuts to specification

  6. Install Wheel: Install wheel, lower vehicle

  7. Road Test: Verify no noise and no looseness

【Professional Tips】

  • Road test recommended after replacement to confirm no chassis noise

  • Recommended to replace both left and right sides as a pair for symmetric suspension performance

  • If chassis noise persists after replacement, inspect stabilizer bushings and other suspension components
