Boost Your Product Interoperability with the New Bluetooth Certification

The new Bluetooth qualification procedure will officially take effect on July 1, 2024. The new process will be simplified, resolve inconsistencies between administrative and operational documents, and merge process documents into one file: OPRDV3.

This update is intended to address one of the biggest challenges currently facing members of the Bluetooth Alliance: the overly complex Bluetooth qualification review process.

At the same time, a new tool: Qualification Workspace is scheduled to be launched on July 1, 2024, and Qualification Workspace will replace Launch studio.

The Bluetooth qualification process promotes product interoperability and enhances the Bluetooth brand and the entire Bluetooth ecosystem. To complete the Bluetooth qualification certification process, the product must include a design that implements at least one complete layer (finished product category).

Qualification program updates:

1. Improve qualification paths with a focus on products and based on user scenarios, using existing designs or creating new designs;

2. Replace product types with core configurations;

3. Simplify test plans by generating only the required tests;

4. If the design is not modified, the original TCRL version can be inherited;

5. Cancel the requirement for 3-year re-evaluation;

6. Improve product interoperability by enforcing inter-layer dependencies and I0PT;

LCS is recognized as IEC/ISO17025 laboratories accepted by CNAS and NVLAP, accredited by CPSC, CMA, accredited for CQC, ISTA, CBTL, SASO, SABS. Meanwhile LCS become laboratory authorized by TUV, BQTF issued by the SIG.
