KSD9700 Temperature Protector Principle and Structure
H20 and H21 series universal and enhanced protectors with large
metal casing are composed of thermal conductive metal casing,
bimetallic parts welded with silver alloy contact point, conductive
bracket, insulation fixation stand, fixed contact strip, and heat
resistance cable. In case of abnormal operation, when the
environment temperature increases to the set value, the bimetallic
parts perform quick action, open the contact point, and disconnect
the circuit. When the device cools to the safe operation
temperature, the contact point automatically closes and recovers
normal operation.

H20/H21 Series Temperature Protector Applications
H20 and H21 series are applicable to chargeable batteries,
ballasts, massagers, micro motors, transformers, electric tools,
heat electric appliances, and instruments.
Operation Types
Manual Reset Type
Temperature sensing components consist of bimetallic strip. When
the temperature reaches the action temperature range, it will jump
quickly and the movable disc disconnects. When the temperature
declines to a fixed temperature point, the contact point cannot
reset until reconnecting the circuit by pushing the reset button.
Then the contact points recover, achieving the purpose of
connecting or disconnecting the circuit and restarting the circuit
by manual reset.
Important Notes: 1. This type of manual reset thermostat can reset when the
temperature declines 20°C after snap action by pressing the reset
button. 4-6 N force is advisable; please don't use too much
strength. 2. To ensure normal function, the distance between the
reset button and the close cover should not be less than 20.4mm.
Auto Reset Type
Temperature sensing components consist of bimetallic strip. When
the temperature reaches the action temperature range, it will jump
quickly and the movable disc disconnects. When the temperature
declines to a fixed temperature point, the contact point can auto
reset and start working.
The product has UL, CQC, TUV and RoHS certification approval.
