Product Description:

The ST pressure test plug produced and sold by our company Huichi Petro is a pressure test tool designed for pressure testing of blowout preventer groups and pipes. During the pressure test, you only need to put the tool into the pipe or the lower part of the blowout preventer where the pressure needs to be tested to conduct the pressure test. It can be used for pressure testing of a single casing on the ground, it can also be used for pressure testing of downhole casing strings, and it can also be used for one-time layered pressure testing of casing and blowout preventers equipped with wellhead equipment. The operation is very simple and reliable. After the pressure test, it is recycled for next use. The plug (leather cup) we sell is made of high-quality rubber material, so that the sealing pressure generally reaches 15MPa~70MPa (150~700kgf/cm2), which can meet the use requirements.

Structure and working principle:

The pressure test plug consists of a mandrel, a plug, a plug seat, a joint and an O-ring. The mandrel and the joint are both equipped with drill pipe joint threads, and the plug is installed on the mandrel.

The pressure test plug actually plays the role of a pipe plug, eliminating the need for pipe plugging and buckling operations. If a simple device is added, it is also convenient for the pressure test of the mine station or pipeline string.

During the pressure test, the pressure test plug is placed in the casing, and the outer diameter of the plug is sealed with the inner wall of the casing. After the plug enters the pipe, it deforms and forms a relative contact pressure with the pipe wall. If no compression force is applied at this time, it can also withstand a certain internal pressure. This is the "self-sealing effect". The plug is unidirectional pressure-bearing, and the pressure is borne on the V-shaped surface of the plug. If a certain internal pressure is applied, the V-shaped surface will expand outward, increasing the mutual contact stress, making the fit tighter and the sealing performance better.

Operation:

1. Before the pressure test operation in the wellhead blowout preventer group or casing string, the specifications of the pressure test plug and type A or type B (the outer diameters of type A and type B are different) should be selected according to the inner diameter range of the pipe.

2. Pressure test of casing or pipe in the well. If the casing in the well is found to be leaking, or the ground pipe coupling needs to be pressure tested, double plugs can be used for pressure testing. However, when the ground pipe is pressure tested, both ends of the pipe must be fixed to avoid danger.

3. When the wellhead blowout preventer group is pressure tested, the drill pipe connected to the pressure test plug should have the same sealing diameter as the blowout preventer. One blowout preventer can be pressure tested, or several blowout preventers can be pressure tested at the same time.

4. When the pressure test plug is lowered into the casing or taken out of the casing, the speed of drilling should be slow, which can reduce the damage to the outer diameter of the plug and increase its service life.
