Anionic Polyacrylamide Flocculant for Copper Nickel Ore Tailings Management with High Solid Content and Solid-Liquid Separation

The pulp or tailings from flotation cells enter thickening tanks for settlement. Flocculants promote subsidence and obtain overflow for circulating water. Concentrated tailings are pumped into centrifuges for dewatering using anionic polyacrylamide as centrifugal additives to improve sedimentation and filtration efficiency. Copper concentrate recovery is 25% to 35% through high-temperature metallurgy.

Flotation process separates cleaned coal with high combustion value. Coal particles float while impurities settle. Polyacrylamide functions as a flocculant to improve separation efficiency of water and impurities, enabling water recycling.

In wet processes, PAM provides quick water-mud separation effects when separating nickel from nickel mines.

Minerals are oxidized to zinc oxide by calcination, then dissolved in sulfuric acid and filtered. Anionic polyacrylamide flocculant promotes rapid mineral subsidence, clarifies filtrate, improves production efficiency, and reduces mineral loss.

After grinding, anionic polyacrylamide flocculant is fed to thickeners to settle solid content. Bottom substance is filtered through multiple filters with polyacrylamide addition before filtration.
