C86300 Manganese Bronze (SAE 430B) is a high strength alloy used as
bushings, bearings, gears, gibs, screw down nuts, bridge pins,
valve stems and hydraulic cylinder parts.
Graphited bearings should be soaked in lubricant prior to
application. The graphite absorbs the lubricant, which is then
transferred to the shaft when heated by the shaft motion. This
action provides oil needed to lubricate but not in sufficient
quantity to cause leakage at the bearing ends. The oil is
re-absorbed by the graphite when motion ceases.

loads must be supported at low to medium speeds
The Plug Graphite Cast Bronze Bushing is able to withstand high
temperatures up to 570 F
The self-lubricating feature allows bearings to be used where
oiling is difficult, expensive to implement, and where grease/oil
cannot be used. Excellent lubrication is achieved even under high
loads at low speeds.
Self lubrication with specially embedded solid lubricants reduces
friction. Coefficient of Friction: 0.04 to 0.2
