When selecting Bronze POM (Polyoxymethylene) bushes with a thrust
washer composite, metric thickness is a crucial factor to consider.
The thickness of these components directly affects their
performance and durability in various applications.
Bronze POM bushes are commonly used in machinery and equipment due
to their excellent wear resistance, mechanical strength, and
self-lubricating properties. When combined with a thrust washer
composite, they provide an even more robust solution for
applications that require high thrust loads and precision
movements.
The metric thickness of the Bronze POM bush determines its ability
to withstand compression and impact forces. A thicker bush can
offer greater strength and durability, but it may also increase the
overall size and weight of the component. Conversely, a thinner
bush may be more suitable for applications with limited space but
may not provide the same level of strength.
The thickness of the thrust washer composite is also important.
This component supports the bush and helps distribute the thrust
load evenly. A thicker thrust washer can provide more support and
stability, while a thinner one may be sufficient for applications
with lower thrust loads.
It's important to consult with a manufacturer or supplier to
determine the appropriate metric thickness for your specific
application. They can provide expert advice based on your
requirements, such as the expected thrust load, operating
conditions, and space constraints.
In summary, the metric thickness of Bronze POM bushes with thrust
washer composites is a crucial factor to consider when selecting
these components for your machinery or equipment. The appropriate
thickness can ensure optimal performance, durability, and
suitability for your specific application.

1. POM 0.30-0.50mm modified polyformaldehyde has good wear resistance, and even in
the case of instantaneous oil shortage, it also has a low friction
factor.Bearing surface is arranged with a spiral Angle of the oil
sump pit, assembly, must be coated with grease.
2. Copper powder layer 0.20~0.35mm, with good bearing capacity and wear resistance, good thermal
conductivity can timely transfer the heat generated in the process
of bearing operation. The composite material can infiltrate into the gap of copper powder
ball and improve the bonding strength.
3. Low carbon steel, providing bearing capacity and heat transfer
function of the bearing.

Inspection method of shaft sleeve bushings
1. Outside diameter: ring gauge pass (GO) and stop (NO GO) mode is
adopted. The through end of ring gauge is the maximum size of
outside diameter, while the end of ring gauge is the minimum size
of outside diameter.
2. Inner diameter: press the shaft sleeve into the reference hole
(H7 median tolerance) and test the shaft sleeve with cylindrical
plug gauge. The through end of the plug gauge is the minimum size
of the inner hole of the shaft sleeve, and the end end of the plug
gauge is the maximum size of the inner hole of the shaft sleeve. The
accuracy grade of the inner hole of the rolling shaft sleeve is H9.
Ring gauge and plug gauge size according to DIN1494 part.
Bushings Structure Characteristics
Metal-polymer marginal lubricating composite materials consist of
metal backing sintered porous bronze with POM or PEEK polymer as working layer. Steel backing provides exceptionally
high load carrying capacity, excellent heat dissipation. Sintered
bronze powder provides thermal conductivity away from the bearing
surface, also serves as a reservoir for the resin mixture. And the
POM or PEEK polymer layer provides high wear resistance and low
friction even with only minute volume of lubricant are supplied,
this bearing surface carries a pattern of circular indents which
should be filled with grease on assembly of the bearing.
Detailed information
Boundary lubrication lead-free bearing is improved on the basis of
VSB-20. It has the same performance as the VSB-20, but the surface
does not contain lead, and the field of use can be extended to
areas with environmental requirements.

Boundary lubrication bearing High Quality POM Bush China
Manufacturer
· marginally lubricated bushings for grease or oil lubricated
applications
· Standard parts contain grease indents in the sliding layer; plain
sliding layer available by request
· Optimum performance under relatively high loads and low speeds
· Suitable for linear, oscillating and rotating movements
· Wide range of parts available from stock
Suitable for rotating and oscillating movement, less maintenance
requirements due to the long re-lubrication intervals, lower wear, lower susceptibility to
edge loading, no absorption of water and therefore no swelling,
good damping behaviours, good resistance to shock loads.
Structure And Composition
1. POM thickness 0.30~0.50 mm. It provides high wearresistance and
low friction even with only minute volume oflubricant are supplied,
this bearing surface carries a pattern of circular indents which
should be filled with grease on assembly of the bearing.
2. Sintered bronze powder thickness 0.20-0.35mm. A special
composition of powdered copper is thermally fused to the steel
backing. This contact layer acts as an anchor for the layer and
conducts the thermal build up away from the bearing surfaces.
3. Low-carbon steel.Setting the foundation of the bushings, the
steel back provides exceptional stability, load carrying and heat
dissipation
