2.Electrical Surges: Plugging or unplugging the scope while the video processor is powered on ("hot-plugging" without proper care, depending on your generation of processor) can occasionally send voltage spikes to the driver board.

3.Component Aging: Over years of extensive clinical cycles and heat exposure during operation, capacitors and resistors on the board naturally degrade.
