The IPSYS01 System Power Module is a rack-mounted circuit board
that provides essential operating voltages for industrial control
systems. It supplies 5 VDC, 15 VDC, and -15 VDC to rack I/O
devices, along with 24 VDC power to the cabinet for field I/O. The
module offers flexible input power compatibility, accepting 120
VAC, 240 VAC, or 125 VDC inputs.
For AC inputs, the module incorporates active power factor
correction, achieving a power factor greater than 0.95. It features
current sharing circuitry that enables multiple system power
modules to equally distribute output current without overloading
individual units.
The IPSYS01 includes comprehensive self-monitoring capabilities,
continuously monitoring DC-to-DC converters and the power factor
corrector to ensure reliable operation.
