Loctite 271 is a one-component, red, fluorescent, high-strength anaerobic threadlocker. Its chemical type is dimethacrylate ester, designed for metal surfaces where it cures in the absence of air to form a permanent lock and seal.

Loctite 271 is designed for the permanent locking and sealing of threaded fasteners, effectively preventing loosening and leakage caused by shock and vibration. With its low viscosity, it offers excellent penetration into thread gaps and is particularly suited for large bolts and studs (up to M25).
