The OceanProtect X8000 is a high-end model in Huawei's OceanProtect backup all-in-one series, designed specifically for large-scale data protection. It uses a dedicated backup storage base, integrates backup management software, servers, and storage resources, supports full flash and HDD form options, and has a system usable capacity range from 16TB to 4PB. It is suitable for industries such as finance, government, and manufacturing that require high data security.
High performance and high reliability: This device provides
excellent backup and recovery performance, with physical backup
bandwidth up to 20TB/hr (single node), logical backup bandwidth up
to 40TB/hr (single node), and system level logical backup bandwidth
up to 72TB/hr; The maximum recovery bandwidth is 36TB/hr, combined
with native format backup and scan free permanent incremental
backup technology to shorten backup time and achieve second level
full replica synthesis. At the same time, it adopts dual control
A-A architecture and RAID-6/RAID-TP redundancy protection, supports
multi disk failure fault tolerance, and ensures business
continuity.
Data reduction and storage efficiency: By using source side re
deletion, link re deletion, and self-developed compression
algorithms, the highest data reduction rate of 72:1 is achieved,
saving network bandwidth up to 90%. The 2U2PB high-density design
is adopted, saving more than 90% of physical space and effectively
reducing total cost of ownership
