6. Installation & Startup

1. Insert module into any VME-64X slot; captive screws 0.5 N·m.
2. Connect Ethernet – Port-1 Plant, Port-2 Unit, Port-3 Service (DHCP default).
3. Assign IP & redundancy role – ToolboxST > Controller > UCCC > Network.
4. Enable security – import signed SBOM, set TPM PIN, enable disk encryption.
5. Deploy containers – drag-and-drop Docker images (MQTT, OPC-UA, CIMPLICITY).
6. Verify LEDs – green “RUN” + blinking “LAN” = healthy; amber “STBY” = backup.
