6. Installation & Start-up

Mount board on 35 mm DIN-rail inside converter; clip until latch clicks.
Set jumpers – choose 5 V or 24 V input level; terminate RS-485 if last node.
Wire encoder – use shielded twisted-pair, shield earthed at board only.
Connect 24 V – observe polarity; green “PWR” LED lights.
Configure drive – select “EXT PULSE” source, set pulses/revolution.
Verify pulses – oscilloscope on output terminals should show clean square wave.
