Inline Visual Dispensing Machine for Speaker Assembly — ±0.05 mm Placement Accuracy

Product Overview

This inline visual dispensing machine is built for speaker and receiver assembly tasks such as bonding diaphragms, fixing magnets, and sealing housings. It offers precise dot and short‑bead placement with integrated camera inspection to verify each deposit. The system supports syringe, valve and auger dispense heads to handle a range of adhesives from low‑viscosity fluids to thicker sealants. Designed for conveyor or robot integration, it reduces manual handling and improves first‑pass yield.

Problem

Speaker module lines suffer yield losses when glue is mis‑placed, over‑applied, or misses critical spots, causing sound defects, poor sealing, or assembly rejects.

Cause

Manual dosing and low‑precision dispensers produce variable dot size and position. Without inline inspection, errors are found late in the line, increasing rework and scrap. Inadequate control of drive, nozzle choice or feed also increases variation.

Solution

This machine combines a precision motion stage, configurable dispense heads, and an inline vision system that checks placement and basic volume shape immediately after dispensing. Jobs are stored as recipes (coordinates, pulse, pressure) so runs are repeatable across shifts. Quick nozzle change and purge routines minimize maintenance interruptions.

Application

  • Receiver and speaker assembly: adhesive dots on voice coils, magnet seating, damper bonding.
  • Sealing and gasketing on small housings and acoustic ports.
  • Component tack glue and adhesive start points before potting or overmolding.
  • Inline production cells where verified placement and minimal rework are required.

How It Works

The selected dispense head deposits adhesive at programmed coordinates while the motion system positions the head accurately. The camera locates fiducials or pads and compensates for part shift or rotation. After each deposit the vision check confirms position and basic deposit shape; out‑of‑tolerance parts are logged or routed for rework. Recipes save drive, pulse and motion settings for repeat runs.

How To Choose

  1. Define your target deposit size (nL/µL) and pad geometry so we can recommend the best head and nozzle.
  2. Provide adhesive viscosity and cure method; we will confirm head compatibility and whether heating or a specific feed is required.
  3. Share part layout and conveyor/fixture details to size the working area and fixturing.
  4. Give required throughput (parts per minute) to set motion and dispense frequency.
  5. Decide vision needs: alignment only or alignment plus deposit inspection.
  6. Request a bench trial with your adhesive and parts to verify settings and expected yield.

FAQ

Q1: Can this machine handle both low‑viscosity adhesive and thicker sealants?
A1: Yes. Choose the appropriate head (micro‑valve or syringe/auger) based on viscosity; provide your adhesive data for final confirmation.

Q2: How does the vision inspection work?
A2: The camera aligns to fiducials and inspects deposit position and basic shape immediately after dispensing; out‑of‑tolerance events are logged and can trigger automatic routing.

Q3: What throughput can I expect?
A3: Throughput depends on pattern density and head choice. Provide your parts per minute target and pattern and we will size the configuration and give an estimate.

Q4: Is the machine ready for robot or conveyor integration?
A4: Yes. The system offers standard PLC/robot I/O and a compact mounting flange for robot end effectors or conveyor inline mounting.

Q5: Do you provide sample testing and commissioning?
A5: Yes. Send parts and adhesive samples; we run bench tests, return logs and support onsite commissioning and training.
