About dry digestion method based on high-temperature catalytic oxidation and NDIR detection
The TOC analyzer utilizes a high-performance oxidative catalyst in the combustion furnace to thoroughly combust and decompose the sample into carbon dioxide and water vapor at high temperatures. Water vapor is condensed, removing carbon dioxide, and then enters the non-dispersive infrared detector (NDIR), yielding the total carbon (TC) concentration in the water sample. Total organic carbon (TOC) is calculated as TOC = TC - TIC.
