Working Principle

The system utilizes a microfocus X-ray tube to generate radiation that penetrates SMD components on reels. A high-resolution flat panel detector captures raw images, which are processed by an industrial PC with AI deep learning for automatic counting and analysis. Results are displayed on a 24-inch LCD monitor, with full radiation shielding ensuring safe operation.

Artificial Intelligence Deep Learning Algorithm

Our counting software utilizes a powerful artificial intelligence deep learning algorithm that automatically identifies components and applies appropriate algorithms without manual binding. The AI learns from counted component data including:

  • Aspect ratio analysis
  • Angle measurement of each component corner
  • Slope calculation between components from inside to outside
  • Deformation analysis of component images from inside to outside

As component counting increases, results become progressively more accurate. The system easily handles similar components or larger trays with enhanced precision over time.

Cloud Database Integration

Every Wellman X-ray counter connects to our cloud database, automatically uploading machine data and images while downloading the latest database updates. Our engineers continuously optimize algorithms based on collected data, providing regular cloud database updates for all customers.
