To solve the issue of pavement crack reflection in flexible pavements, our needle-punched geotextile provides an elongation at break of 50–100%, allowing the material to absorb horizontal stress and move with the subgrade . It serves as a vital isolation layer between road ballast and subgrade, preventing the intermixing of soil layers that leads to structural instability .
