Corrosion Resistant Step-Type Fine Screen Smooth Operation Fine Grading
Brief Description
This stepped screen is made of highly wear-resistant material, balancing corrosion resistance and mechanical strength, making it suitable for various harsh working conditions. The scientifically configured screen angle and layer spacing allow for natural separation of materials of different particle sizes, reducing the risk of clogging. Its compact structure and easy installation make it particularly suitable for industrial sites with limited space but high screening accuracy requirements.

Product Overview
Our step-type fine screen redefines the benchmark of fine screening equipment. With a proprietary overlapping sieve plate configuration, it excels at efficiently eliminating fine particles, fiber contaminants and miscellaneous residues in wastewater. Crafted for long service life and hassle-free maintenance, it stands as the premier solution for municipal and industrial wastewater stations, ensuring stable pretreatment performance and high-quality effluent to support subsequent critical processes including MBR, UV sterilization and water reclamation.
Working Principle
Different from ordinary fine screens, the step-type fine screen
adopts two sets of alternately arranged overlapping step plates,
which implement separate reciprocating stepping actions.
*Filtration: Wastewater flows through the precision-machined openings between
fixed and moving components to achieve effective filtration.
*Conveying & Cleaning: The moving plates slowly and steadily lift the trapped solids
upward in a stepwise manner.
*Final Discharge: Solids are discharged into the collection chute automatically at
the upper end, and the plates reset to continue filtering.
Such a continuous self-cleaning mechanism eliminates clogging and
screen clogging risks, guaranteeing stable flow rate and long-term
efficient operation.

Key Design & Performance Features
*Unmatched Clog Resistance: The unique stepping motion and self-cleaning design virtually
eliminate clogging and hairpinning—common failures in drum or rake
screens. This ensures 24/7 uninterrupted operation, even with
challenging, fibrous materials.
*Exceptionally High Filtration Efficiency: Available with fine apertures from 1 mm to 6 mm, it achieves
superior capture rates for fine solids, fibers, plastics, and hair,
providing optimal protection for downstream equipment.
*Proven Durability & Low Maintenance: Constructed with high-grade stainless steel (SS 304/316) for all
critical components. The simple, robust mechanical design has fewer
wear parts than competitors, translating to dramatically lower life
cycle costs and less downtime.
*Hydraulically Efficient & Compact: The vertical or inclined installation offers a large screening
area within a small footprint, resulting in very low head loss and
significant energy savings for pumping stations.
*Hygienic & Odor-Free Operation: The complete discharge of solids and absence of stagnant areas or
internal dead zones prevent putrefaction and odor generation,
making it perfect for food & beverage and pharmaceutical
applications.
Applications
*Municipal WWTPs: Ensures stable fine screening at inlet works, acts as
high-performance pretreatment for MBR, and upgrades effluent
quality in advanced treatment stages.
*Food & Beverage Production: Targeted removal of organic fibers, rinds, packaging waste and
other process-related solids.
*Pulp & Paper Facilities: High-efficiency interception of fine fibers to support recycling
and maintain clean process water.
*Pumping & Lift Stations: Prevents clogging and downtime in stormwater and combined sewer
networks.
*Industrial Process Pretreatment: Essential screening equipment for automotive, textile, chemical
and other heavy industrial applications.
