High Efficiency and Stability SL-Type Water Intake Screen Wear-Resistant Compact Structure
Brief Description
The SL-type water intake screen is widely used in various industrial liquid handling scenarios due to its high efficiency and stable operation. The equipment is made of wear-resistant and durable materials, ensuring long-term durability; its compact structure facilitates installation and deployment in limited spaces. Suitable for the preliminary filtration needs of industries such as chemical, food, and pharmaceutical, it effectively improves the efficiency of subsequent processes, making it an ideal choice for industrial pretreatment.

Product Overview
Engineered for demanding environments, the SL-Type Water Intake Screen is a robust, rake-type screening solution specifically designed to handle large, challenging debris in high-flow water intake applications. It serves as the primary defense for critical infrastructure, effectively protecting pumps, turbines, and downstream processes from damage caused by logs, vegetation, plastic waste, and other oversized solids.
Working Principle
*Interception: Water flows through the screen, which consists of fixed bars.
Large debris is intercepted on the upstream face.
*Lifting: A continuous loop of chains with cleaning rakes travels upward,
collecting the retained debris from the bars.
*Discharge: At the top of the travel path, the rakes clear the debris, which
falls by gravity into a hopper or onto a conveyor for disposal.
*Sealed Design: A secondary ("back") screen at the bottom prevents debris and flow
from bypassing the main screening area, ensuring maximum capture
efficiency.

superior outdoor protection. This design is ideal for exposed
locations like hydropower stations and large pumping stations,
ensuring reliability in harsh weather.
*Exceptional Debris Handling: Specifically engineered to capture and remove large, bulky objects
such as whole bamboo trunks, tree branches, and industrial waste
that would clog or damage ordinary screens.
*Uninterrupted Operation: Capable of continuous, 24/7 operation during periods of heavy
debris influx, guaranteeing constant protection for your vital
assets without interruption.
Applications
*Large Stormwater and Flood Control Pumping Stations
*Raw Water Intakes from Rivers, Lakes, and Reservoirs
*Hydropower Plant and Large Hydraulic Project Forebays
