High-purity quartz (SiO₂), often requiring 99.9999% purity (6N), is the essential raw material for the semiconductor industry. It is used to manufacture fused quartz crucibles for silicon crystal growth, as well as furnace tubes, boats, and rods for wafer processing. Renowned for its thermal stability, chemical inertness, and ability to handle high temperatures (>1,000℃), it is critical for preventing contamination during wafer fabrication.
