or solder paste with high precision onto printed circuit boards
(PCBs) or other small electronic assemblies. Unlike inline systems
used in high-volume production lines, desktop machines are ideally
suited for prototyping, small-batch production, R&D, and repair
work.
These machines use XYZ gantry systems, precision stepper motors,
and micro-dispensing valves or syringes to control the amount and
placement of glue for SMT components.
