The T9432 analog input module provides sixteen isolated input
channels for process monitoring. Each channel measures 0-24 mA
input current and supplies digital and analog data to the
processor.
Key Functions & Features
- Configurable Voltage Bands: Each channel offers five adjustable voltage bands with eight
switching thresholds to implement hysteresis, line monitoring, and
field device diagnostics.
- Local and System Diagnostics: Front panel LEDs indicate module and channel status. Status data
can also be accessed via Workbench application variables.
Comprehensive system- and module-level diagnostics support rapid
maintenance.
- Isolation and Fault Protection: Signal and power isolation circuits separate each input channel
from the system, protecting the controller from field faults. An
independent watchdog monitors module operation and triggers
shutdown in case of faults.
- Termination Assemblies: Compatible with T9831/2/3 termination assemblies. In dual or TMR
configurations, the module provides fault-tolerant input, allowing
replacement without interrupting data flow.
- HART Integration: Supports HART commands #03 for data collection from field devices.
HART data can be used to monitor device conditions or supply module
diagnostics, including error and comparison reporting.
- Line Monitoring: Each channel can be configured via AADvance Workbench with default
parameters: Fault (0-3.8 mA), Normal (3.8-22.0 mA), Fault (>22.0
mA).
- Process Safety: Enables fast detection of abnormal conditions, ensures reliable
input for processor modules, and supports continuous monitoring
even during module replacement.
