The D28 Modular Welding Table with Interchangeable Fixturing Accessories is a heavy-duty System-28 standard 3-dimensional flexible welding clamping platform. Built for heavy-load metal fabrication, this all-in-one modular system features Φ28 mm precision holes arranged in a 100 mm grid across the tabletop and four side faces. All fixturing accessories are fully interchangeable, allowing welders to quickly build custom clamping setups for diverse workpieces without expensive custom jigs.

Manufactured from Q355 steel or HT300 cast iron with nitrided surface treatment, it delivers outstanding anti-spatter performance, high rigidity and long-term dimensional stability. Compatible with both manual welding and robotic welding cells, it is widely applied in structural steel, machinery frame, agricultural equipment and heavy-duty metal assembly.

Design Details
  1. Five-sided opening design: The top surface and four sides of the worktable are all machined with D28 holes. These side holes allow for the installation of side positioning blocks and lateral clamping fixtures to secure tall workpieces, eliminating the need to rely solely on clamps on top of the worktable.
  2. Chamfered hole openings: Chamfered hole openings facilitate the insertion of locking pins and prevent damage. Without chamfering, pin alignment would be difficult.
  3. Dust plugs: Each Φ28 hole is equipped with a plastic dust plug to prevent metal shavings and welding slag from falling into the hole. These plugs must be used when not in use.
  4. Chamfered worktable edges: Prevents bumps and scratches during handling and operation, and avoids damage to the welded workpiece.
  5. Support legs: Rubber pads on the bottom of the legs protect the ground and allow for fine-tuning of the level. The foot screws typically have a travel of ±30mm for adjusting the worktable surface.
  6. Grounding design: A grounding terminal is provided on the worktable. During welding, the welding machine's ground wire can be connected to prevent sparking from the workpiece and damage to the worktable.
Robot Automation Adaptation

The D28 is a mainstream tooling platform for robotic welding stations:

  • The flatness of the table surface and the accuracy of the holes meet the robot positioning requirements
  • It can be used with positioners, rotary tables, and tilting tables. The D28 welding table can be mounted on a positioner to achieve workpiece rotation welding
  • It can be equipped with pneumatic/hydraulic clamps to replace manual clamps and be integrated into the robotic production line
  • When the robot is working, attention should be paid to the protruding height of the locking pin to prevent interference and collisions with the robot arm
