Product Description

Tube for anti-static ESD Sensitive IC and module.

The products are widely used in the packaging of IC, individual components, electrical modules, transformers, LED and other precision electronic components.

Regarding to the anti-static or ESD, it is depend on the reqirement if the component is ESD sensitive, we can make ESD coating on the carrier or tube.

The main material is PVC and PS.

Custom Made Sized Tubes

There many different configurations and sometimes not a one tube fits all scenario contact us for custom sized tubes.
Anti static ic tubes are used for transporting components from supplier to end user.
Tubes are also used for loading into machines that assemble integrated circuit boards.
Our plastic shipping tubes are made of clear anti-static PVC with writing printed or imbedded on the tube specifiying they are anti-static.

For quoting tubes Big Valley Packaging will need one of the following:

• Drawing of the tube you wish to order

• Drawing of the integrated circuit component thats going into the tube

• A sample tube if there is no drawing

• If none of the above is available, we will need your physical component that goes into the tube so we can take measurements.

Custom Manufactured IC Shipping Tube Considerations

• One time tooling set up cost

• Tube tooling is not a cost we have control over

• Extruded integrated circuit tube tooling must be designed & manufactured based on the shape of the extrusion

• Minimum tube order requirement

End Caps/Stoppers for Tubes

• Tubes will need to have some form of stopper, plug, or pin at each end

• Tube stopper plugs are not included into the price of the tube, they are always quoted as an additional item

• Stopper Types:
  Rubber caps that go over the end of the tube

  Rubber plug stoppers that are pushed into each end of the tube

  Hard plastic caps that are pushed into the end of the tube

  Plastic pins that are pushed/pulled into holes that have been drilled into the tube

• Colored plugs are available for some of the tube stoppers
