The Kycon K99X Series IDC D-Subminiature Connector is designed for reliable connectivity in demanding environments. Featuring a metal construction with bright tin shells for exceptional conductivity, grounding, and EMI/RFI shielding, this connector is ideal for applications including computer peripherals, data processing, telecommunications, industrial controls, and local area networks. Indentations on the metal plug shells ensure superior grounding and mating retention. The connector is compatible with automatic assembly machines and meets the requirements of MIL-C-24308, EIA RS-232, and RS-449 standards. Flat cable can be connected directly or daisy-chained.
