The Kycon K99X Series IDC D-Subminiature Connector is designed for reliable data connectivity in demanding environments. Featuring metal construction with bright tin shells for exceptional conductivity, grounding, and EMI/RFI shielding, these connectors offer robust performance. Indentations on the metal plug shells enhance grounding and mating retention. The series is compatible with automatic assembly machines and meets the requirements of MIL-C-24308, EIA RS-232, and RS-449. Applications include computer peripherals, data processing, telecommunications, industrial controls, and local area networks. Flat cable can be connected to a single connector or daisy-chained.
