This rigid industrial IP68 duplex multimode fiber coupler (LC/LC) with dust cap is designed to connect 10G Ethernet fiber optic equipment in industrial environments requiring protection against dust, debris, and moisture. It is recommended for outdoor or harsh outdoor environments, such as factories, warehouses, recycling plants, and machine shops. The coupler inserts into an industrial-grade wall plate or surface-mount box to create a watertight seal and features an included dust cap for protection when not in use. Its IP68 rating ensures 100% protection against dust and immersion in 1.5 meters of water for up to 60 minutes, making it ideal for basement applications. For full IP68 protection, it should be used with a N206-SB01-IND surface-mount box and N820-Series duplex multimode fiber cabling. For IP44 protection, it can be paired with N820-Series cable and specific metal wall plates (sold separately).
