The Schurter 4797 is an IEC appliance outlet designed for snap-in or screw-on mounting on the front side. It features solder or quick-connect terminals and is suitable for use in equipment according to IEC/UL 62368-1. This outlet meets enhanced requirements for appliances in unattended use, including glow wire tests according to IEC 60695-2-11 or -12 & -13, making it ideal for household and similar appliances. It is compatible with V-Lock, P-Lock, and Twylock systems for secure cord connections. Variants with integrated light pipes are available for status indication in smart PDUs.
