The xFBR-45xxZ series connectors are enhanced, low-cost connectors for plastic optical fiber, compatible with Avago Technologies Versatile Link series transmitters and receivers. They feature an innovative snap-together design that eliminates the need for crimping, saving labor and tool costs while reducing installation errors. Available in latching and non-latching styles, two non-latching simplex connectors can be snapped together for duplex configurations. Constructed from rugged, flame-retardant plastic, these connectors are suitable for industrial and harsh environments. They are designed exclusively for use with Plastic Optical Fiber and are available in black, blue, and grey to facilitate easy differentiation of fiber connections.
