The 3M Textool Universal DIP Sockets are designed for reliable
connection of DIP components with 0.100" (2.54 mm) lead spacing.
Featuring an extra-wide contact zone, these sockets accommodate
DIPs with row distances ranging from 0.300" (7.62 mm) to 0.600"
(15.24 mm). The lever-actuated zero insertion force mechanism
ensures easy and safe insertion and removal of components. The
socket contact point is positioned 0.090" (2.29 mm) below the top
surface of the socket, facilitating efficient integration into
various electronic assemblies.
