The 627/628 Series D-Sub connectors are vertical, metal-body connectors designed for robust data communication applications. They feature a pin and socket contact mating design with P.C. tail termination and a metal shell that provides EMI/RFI shielding. The connectors offer integrated grounding features, including boardlocks for exceptional retention to the P.C. board, and are designed based on the requirements of MIL-C-24038, EIA RS-232, and RS-449 standards. Available in standard and high profile insulator styles, these connectors are suitable for panel mount or connector mating with various mounting options.
