Product Overview

The 3M Textool Axial Lead ZIP Strip Sockets are designed for devices with unformed or axially extending leads on .050 (1.27 mm) centers. These sockets feature a lever-actuated zero insertion force mechanism for easy lead insertion. The socket without a top-plate cover allows for horizontal insertion of leads, making them frequently used in pairs to accommodate non-standard Flat Packs with leads on .050 (1.27 mm) centers. Left and right-hand versions must be ordered separately to form a complete pair. They accept pins up to 0.14 (0.36 mm) to 0.25 (0.64 mm) square.
