The Kycon K99X Series IDC D-Subminiature Connector offers a robust metal construction designed for reliable connections in demanding environments. Featuring bright tin shells for superior conductivity, grounding, and EMI/RFI shielding, these connectors are ideal for applications in computer peripherals, data processing, telecommunications, industrial controls, and local area networks. Indentations on the metal plug shells enhance grounding and mating retention. The design is compatible with automatic assembly machines and meets the requirements of MIL-C-24308, EIA RS-232, and RS-449 standards. Plastic strain relief is available separately. Flat cable can be connected individually or daisy-chained.
