Brief Description
Single Rail Sludge Scraper is applied for sludge removal in rectangular horizontal flow sedimentation tanks. As a new generation sludge scraper, it features compact structure, strong adaptability, stable performance, reliable operation, easy maintenance, high scraping efficiency and high discharged sludge concentration.
Product Overview
According to the length of the rectangular sedimentation tank, Single Rail Sludge Scraper can be configured with single scraper plate or multiple scraper plates. The equipment scrapes sludge at the bottom of rectangular horizontal flow sedimentation tank from the outlet zone to the inlet zone, and finally collects sludge into the sludge hopper at the inlet for thickening and subsequent discharge.

Working Principle
The travelling trolley reciprocates along the monorail at the tank bottom and drives the bottom scraper plate to push settled sludge toward the sludge hopper at the tank inlet. The scraper plate lifts automatically on the return stroke to prevent resuspension of deposited sludge. A scum skimming can be optionally installed to collect floating scum simultaneously.
