1. Product Description

Stainless Steel Reducer (also known as Reducer Fitting or Reducing Pipe) is a pipe fitting used to connect two pipes of different diameters in piping systems. Manufactured from high-quality stainless steel, it is mainly classified into two types: Concentric Reducer and Eccentric Reducer. The concentric reducer has both ends aligned on the same centerline, suitable for vertical pipelines; the eccentric reducer has offset centerlines, suitable for horizontal pipelines to prevent fluid accumulation.

The manufacturing processes include reduction pressing, expansion pressing, combined reduction and expansion pressing, as well as stamping forming. Seamless products range from 1/2″ to 20″ (DN15–DN500), while welded products range from 1/2″ to 48″ (DN15–DN1200). The products comply with international standards including GB/T12459, GB/T13401, ASME B16.9, MSS SP-43, DIN, JIS, etc..

2. Product Applications

1. Diameter Transition Connection: Through the design of different calibers at both ends, it enables direct transition connection between pipes of different diameters, resolving installation challenges caused by diameter discrepancies.

2. Smooth Fluid Conveyance: Achieves smooth reducing transfer of fluids (liquids and gases), reduces fluid resistance, and ensures the tightness, stability and long service life of the pipeline system.

3. Flow Regulation and Control: When pipeline flow fluctuates, the reducer can adjust its diameter to stabilize the flow rate, reducing turbulence and fluid shock.

4. System Integration: Used at pump inlets and outlets to prevent cavitation, as well as for connection with instruments such as flow meters and control valves.
