With access from both ends of each storage lane, operators can choose the optimal flow strategy based on product type, shelf-life requirements, and warehouse layout — all without reconfiguring the physical rack structure.

How Dual-Mode Operation Works

The RSR-FL-150 features access openings at both the front and rear of each storage lane. In FIFO operation, the shuttle cart loads pallets from the entry end and the forklift retrieves from the exit end — ensuring oldest stock ships first. In LIFO operation, both loading and unloading occur from the same end, with the shuttle positioning pallets sequentially. Operators switch between modes via the shuttle control interface without mechanical adjustments, providing on-the-fly inventory management flexibility.
