Product Description
The TP655 Petroleum Density Tester is designed for laboratory determination of petroleum product density using a hydrometer method under controlled temperature conditions. During operation, the sample is placed into a density measuring cylinder and heated in a water bath to the specified temperature. After thermal equilibrium is reached, the petroleum density meter is inserted into the sample. The density value is obtained by reading the hydrometer scale together with the sample temperature.
The instrument adopts microcomputer control technology, integrated temperature control, automatic stirring system, and illumination design, providing stable temperature conditions, convenient operation, and reliable test results.

TP655 Petroleum Density Tester key features and operation
Working Principle
The TP655 Petroleum Density Tester works according to the hydrometer measurement method specified in GB/T 1884-2000. The petroleum sample is placed into the density cylinder and heated in a controlled water bath until reaching the required test temperature (normally 20℃ under atmospheric pressure of 101.325 kPa). After the sample temperature becomes stable, a suitable petroleum hydrometer is placed into the sample. When the hydrometer floats freely and reaches equilibrium, the density value is obtained by reading the hydrometer scale and recording the sample temperature.
