Swimming pools serve as versatile spaces for fitness, entertainment, leisure, and landscape enhancement, commonly found in high-end hotels, casinos, schools, and residential communities. Maintaining optimal water quality throughout the swimming season is essential for swimmer health and compliance with health department regulations.
The long-term water quality depends on the water treatment system design and equipment investment. Swimming pool water treatment chemicals are categorized by function: coagulants, disinfectants, algaecides, and pH adjusters. The purification process begins with pre-adding coagulants to incoming water in the pipeline. As water circulates through the system, it mixes thoroughly with coagulants, causing microscopic suspended solids to coagulate and form "flocs" that are filtered out by quartz sand filters.
After passing through heat media exchangers for temperature regulation, disinfectants are added to eliminate harmful bacteria like coliform while maintaining required residual chlorine levels per national standards. For algae control, algaecides are applied when needed, with automated monitoring of pH and residual chlorine content. Once water meets national testing standards, it returns to the pool through adjustable wall-mounted supply devices.
The system employs comprehensive monitoring: PH online monitoring ensures optimal chlorination effectiveness; ORP online monitoring controls microbial elimination; and online TDS monitoring enables precise flocculant dosing timing.
