Contact Action & Working Principle

VSD-K6 has independent door monitoring contacts and lock monitoring contacts. The contact status changes synchronously according to the safety door position and solenoid power status, feeding back real-time door & lock signals to safety PLC / safety relay.

1. Type 4 (Mechanical locking / Electromagnetic release) Safety door closed → mechanically latched; energize DC24V coil to unlock. Door opening will immediately cut safety circuits.
2. Type 7 (Electromagnetic locking / Mechanical release) Energize DC24V coil to lock the safety door; manual mechanical unlock when power fails. Complete wiring diagram and contact state table are available in datasheet for engineering wiring design.
