Members scan a QR code or use facial recognition to enter – timing starts immediately. When they scan to exit, timing automatically stops. The system can charge automatically based on actual usage duration (pay‑per‑use model), or simply record the duration for statistics without charging (period pass / per‑visit model). Supports multiple card types: per‑visit cards (deduct one visit each time), period passes (unlimited visits within validity), stored‑value cards (charge per minute of entry), and casual visitors (single entry via temporary ticket).

2. Facial recognition to prevent abuse

Dual verification (facial recognition + membership card) ensures that the cardholder is the actual member. Effectively prevents card lending to others, second‑hand resale, and multiple people sharing one card.

3. Automatic synchronisation with member status

The system is synchronised in real time with the membership management backend. When a membership expires, falls into arrears, or is frozen: entry is automatically blocked, and the turnstile displays "Membership expired – please contact staff". After renewal, access is automatically restored without issuing a new card. Fully suitable for 24/7 unattended scenarios.

4. Multi‑terminal support and flexible payment

Supports three access methods: QR code scanning (WeChat Pay / Alipay / Apple Wallet / Google Pay), card swiping (membership card / wristband), and facial recognition. Casual visitors can purchase a ticket on site by scanning a QR code, receive a temporary QR code, and scan it to enter. Deductions are fully automatic – members do not need to check their balance each time.

5. Data‑driven operations

Automatically generates member activity reports for analysing weekly / monthly activity rates, average workout duration, peak hour distribution, and member churn warnings – segmented by different groups. Data can be filtered by class type, branch, or time period. 6. Safety compliance and fire alarm integration

The turnstile features anti‑tailgating, anti‑crash, and anti‑climb functions. The system can be linked to the building‘s fire alarm system. When a fire alarm signal is triggered, the turnstile automatically cuts power and the wing/swing barrier opens to an unlocked state – ensuring rapid evacuation and compliance with international fire safety standards such as NFPA 101 and EN 54.
