Monolithic ceramic plungers are manufactured entirely from ceramic materials and connect directly to pumping equipment via specialized fittings. Common materials include alumina, zirconia, ZTA, silicon nitride, and silicon carbide. These plungers feature machining precision of up to 0.001 mm and a surface finish of Ra 0.02. They offer an extremely low coefficient of friction, self-lubricating properties, exceptional hardness and wear resistance, as well as resistance to corrosion and high temperatures. Additionally, they provide high dimensional stability, cleanliness, ease of maintenance, and reliable safety.
