ISO 12233 Standard Test Card 2000 Line
The core basis of the ISO12233 resolution test card is the international standard ISO 12233:2000 "Photography - Electronic still image cameras - Resolution measurement", which unifies the resolution measurement methods and judgment specifications for static electronic imaging equipment, and solves the industry Challenge of the lack of interoperability and comparability of resolution detection data in different devices and scenarios.

The ISO12233 image resolution test card is mainly divided into two
categories: standard type and enhanced type. The standard type is a
universal product in the industry, and its structural design
revolves around the core requirements of resolution detection,
forming a fully functional testing unit system. The core components
and functions are as follows:
(1) Basic materials and core line structure
The core imaging unit of the test card is made of high-precision
radiation absorbing material, with lead foil or equivalent lead
equivalent metal foil as the core substrate. The thickness of the
grating is controlled between 0.05m and 0.1mm, and micro level
precision line forming is achieved through laser engraving
technology. The core detection unit is based on line pairs (LP) as
the measurement unit. A grid bar and adjacent equidistant lines
form a line pair, and multiple sets of line pairs are arranged in
an orderly manner according to an equal ratio/equal difference
sequence. The distance between adjacent line pairs is fixed at 3mm,
and the whole is clamped in a high transparency organic glass plate
to ensure imaging stability during the detection process.
(2) Core Resolution Testing Unit
The core wedge diagram testing unit of the test card covers a
testing range of 100-2000LW/PH (line width per image height), with
each unit performing its own duties to achieve accurate detection
of full screen resolution:
J1 and K1 units: covering a testing range of 100-2000LW/PH,
specifically designed to measure the horizontal visual resolution
at the center of the image;
J2 and K2 units: Covering 100-2000LW/PH with the same measurement
range, used to measure the vertical visual resolution of the center
of the image;
JD and KD units: covering a testing range of 100~1000LW/PH, used to
measure visual resolution in a 45 degree oblique direction;
Four corner cross shaped testing unit: covering a range of
100~1000LW/PH, used to detect the horizontal and vertical visual
resolution of the four corners of the image and evaluate the
imaging performance of the lens edge.
