The SUPT MOTION VCAB0070-0149-00A is a high-performance
semi-enclosed shaft-type voice coil motor designed specifically for
high-speed sorting, rapid pick-and-place, and ejection systems that
require fast response and powerful thrust.
The VCAB series features a built-in motion shaft with precision
linear bearings, ensuring smooth and precise guidance throughout
the entire operating stroke. The motion shaft is made of
lightweight, high-rigidity, wear-resistant materials, offering high
stability and excellent force-velocity characteristics to enable
the rapid acceleration and deceleration required for high-speed
sorting applications.
In high-speed sorting systems for electronic components and food
products, actuators must respond within milliseconds to divert or
reject defective items. The VCAB0070-0149-00A voice coil motor,
with its high back-EMF, delivers exceptional dynamic response and
rapid acceleration, thereby minimizing product damage and improving
production line efficiency.
Compared to traditional pneumatic rejection systems, voice coil
motors offer several key advantages: no compressed air is required,
they operate more quietly, their motion profiles are programmable,
they require less maintenance, and their performance remains
consistent regardless of air pressure fluctuations. The
direct-drive mechanism eliminates the mechanical delays and
friction commonly associated with solenoid-driven pneumatic valves,
resulting in faster response times and more precise rejection
positioning. This linear voice coil motor is also suitable for
high-speed stamping, labeling, and marking applications that
require rapid, controlled contact.
