This wide spacing gives frost room to accumulate without immediately blocking the airflow, meaning fewer defrost cycles, less temperature fluctuation, and lower daily energy consumption.

In deep-freeze applications, a failing defrost system means a completely iced-over coil. This unit features a 2.2 kW electric defrost system with stainless steel heating elements running through both the coil block and the drain pan. This ensures that when the defrost cycle kicks in, ice melts completely and drains out through the 1" outlet rather than refreezing. The outer housing is constructed from high-quality pre-painted steel panels designed to resist rust in high-humidity, sub-zero conditions, and every unit is factory pressure-tested to 2.8 MPa to guarantee leak-free operation.
