Frequently Asked Questions
How do I install my fuel injector after purchasing it?
Please refer to the Step-by-Step Installation Guide on our product
details page, which contains detailed installation instructions.
What precautions should I take before installing my fuel injector?
The installation environment must be dust-free; the O-ring must be
lubricated with clean machine oil before installation to prevent
oil leakage caused by cutting the O-ring during installation; and
remember to check that the O-ring is installed correctly.
Why is my engine still unusable after replacing the fuel injector?
This is common, due to air trapped in the high-pressure oil rail.
Please cycle the engine in short bursts (no more than 30 seconds)
to purge air. It may take several attempts to stabilize the
pressure.
Is my device compatible with this part number of fuel injectors?
If you're not sure if this fits your machine, please send us your
Engine Serial Number (ESN) for free verification.
How to determine if your fuel injectors need replacing?
- Cylinder Cut-out Test: Using diagnostic software, cylinders are shut off one by one, and
engine speed fluctuations are observed to locate the faulty
cylinder.
- Fuel Rail Pressure Test: Check for internal leaks that prevent the system from building up
the critical pressure required for starting.
- Back-leakage Test: Excessive back-leakage usually indicates severe wear of the
internal control valve assembly.
- Visual Inspection: Inspect the fuel injector nozzles for carbon buildup, blockage, or
corrosion.
How long will it take to receive my package after I make the
payment?
This depends on your country and region, and the customs clearance
time in your country. Please feel free to contact us and send us
your address and postal code so we can check shipping costs and
estimate delivery time for you.
Step-by-Step Installation Guide
- Preparation: Clean the injector bores thoroughly. Ensure there is no carbon
debris, old O-rings, or fuel/oil residue at the bottom of the seat.
Inspect the injector sleeve for any signs of pitting or erosion.
- Lubrication: Apply clean engine oil to the three O-rings and the backup rings.
Warning: Never use grease. Only use clean engine oil to ensure the
seals slide in without tearing.
- Seating the Injector: Push the injector down firmly by hand until you feel it "seat."
Install the hold-down clamp and bolt.
- Torque Specifications: Tighten the bolt to 30 N⋅m±7 N⋅m (22 lb-ft). Note: Over-tightening
can crack the injector body; under-tightening causes combustion gas
leakage.
- Trim Code Programming: Locate the 6-digit alphanumeric code on the top of the injector
solenoid. Use ET (Electronic Technician) software to program this
code into the ECM to ensure precise fuel delivery synchronization.
Troubleshooting Guide
| Issue | Root Cause | Solution |
|---|
| Black Smoke | Poor spray atomization or a stuck needle valve can cause dripping. | Inspect the air filter. |
| Hard Start | Internal leakage in the injector can lead to insufficient starting
oil pressure. | Inspect the injector O-rings and internal seals. |
| Engine Misfire | A faulty solenoid valve coil or worn internal valve components can
cause this. | Inspect the wiring harness connections and replace any damaged
injectors. |
