Replacement deflectors for SULZER multistage pumps, supplied as custom-machined parts built to your sample or drawing. The deflector sits at the shaft end of the pump and helps keep process liquid, vapour, and airborne grit away from the bearing housing — a small component that is often worth protecting against rust in wet or aggressive duty.

Most orders start from a worn or broken original deflector. We capture the geometry, confirm the fit, and machine a fresh part rather than guessing at the dimensions.

1. Sample intake — The old deflector, shaft, or a clear drawing is received and logged.
2. 3D scanning / measurement — Geometry is captured by FARO laser scanning or manual metrology so the profile and bore are recorded.
3. Modelling — A CAD model is built and checked against the pump shaft and sealing arrangement.
4. Material selection — A grade is chosen for the duty (see Specification) with rust resistance in mind.
5. Machining — The part is turned, milled, and finished to the recorded dimensions.
6. Surface treatment — Anti-rust coating or plating is applied where the application calls for it.
7. Inspection — Dimensions, hardness, and surface are checked before release.
8. Packing — The deflector is wrapped and boxed for the chosen mode of transport.
